and Systems Measurement (PSM) 14th Annual PSM Users’ Group
Conference. We have a great set of speakers and workshops this
year – it should be a terrific conference! The theme this year
is “Ensuring the Integrity of Measurement Information". We will
discuss how measurement is keeping pace with the changing
economic situation, changing goals and missions, new laws,
policies, technologies, and changing information requirements at
the enterprise, organization, and project levels." - Cheryl

The conference is being held at the New Orleans Marriott at the
Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana this year, a venue
that provides great opportunities for networking in a relaxed
and fun atmosphere. This is a fabulous city, and
all
participants will receive a reduced hotel rate of $89 per night
(this is less than the per diem rate).
There are many nearby attractions including the French Quarter.

The meeting in January will be used to review status, and
identify actions for the coming months (including both
completing measure descriptions, and also drafting measurement
specifications). All five of the upcoming meetings are planned
as teleconferences with webex capabilities. The January telecom
is planned for 1.5 hours, while the remaining ones will be 3
hour discussions, to review the inputs. The PSM Users'
Group Conference will be in June or July to present the work to
date and conduct workshops on the remaining tasks.
