A Message From the PSM Project Manager The Practical Software Measurement Support Center and our Transition Organizations are preparing to meet the new challenges ahead. Throughout the past year, we held many meetings, planning sessions, and the annual PSM Users' Group Conference. Many organizations were represented, and together, we identified areas to change in order to further expand the PSM methodology and the use of its principles. Practical Software Measurement: Objective Information for Decision Makers, the definitive book that encompasses systems as well as software measurement, is now updated with ISO/IEC 15939 terminology, new case studies, an information model, and definitions. Exciting new features are planned for the PSM Insight software tool, along with revisions to our training courses.
